At Empower Independence Care, we provide reliable transport support to help you attend what matters — medical appointments, therapy sessions, social outings, community programs, and day-to-day errands — while supporting your independence along the way.

Support is tailored to your needs and may include:
Transport to appointments, therapy, community activities, and errands
Support while out in the community (checking in, assistance during outings)

Support to build confidence using public transport where appropriate
Assistance to attend group programs or centre-based activities
Encouragement and coaching to gradually increase independence

Funding & availability
Assist–Travel/Transport may be funded under your NDIS plan depending on your goals and budget categories (for example, transport-related supports or community access supports).
We support self-managed and plan-managed participants (and can discuss options if you are NDIA-managed). Availability depends on your suburb in Sydney and requested times.
