Assist – Personal
Activities

assist personal activities

Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, supported, and respected in their daily life. Assist–Personal Activities is an NDIS support that helps participants with everyday personal tasks, while maintaining dignity, privacy, and choice.

At Empower Independence Care, we provide person-centred personal support that fits your routine and preferences. Our goal is to support you safely today — and build confidence and independence over time.

Who it’s for

This support may be right for you if you are an NDIS participant and you:

  • Need assistance with personal daily routines

  • Want support to feel safe and confident at home

  • Need help managing morning or evening routines

  • Want respectful support that follows your preferences and comfort

  • Are building independence step-by-step with daily living tasks

  • Need assistance due to reduced mobility, health needs, or daily support requirements

How we help

Supports are tailored to your needs and can include assistance with:

  • Morning and evening routines (getting ready for the day, winding down at night)

  • Personal care support delivered respectfully and privately

  • Daily routine support to improve comfort, structure, and wellbeing

  • Encouragement and coaching to build independence where possible

  • Support to prepare for appointments, community access, or activities

  • Safe support approaches that prioritise dignity, consent, and your personal preferences

(We always follow your preferences and support plan, and work at your pace.)

What you get

With Empower Independence Care, you can expect:

  • Respect & dignity first — support delivered in a comfortable and culturally respectful way

  • Consistency — reliable support workers and clear communication

  • Safety-focused support — careful, participant-first assistance

  • Choice & control — you stay in charge of how supports are delivered

  • Independence-building — where appropriate, we support you to build confidence in your routine
